Medium Silver Aluminum Base / Light Birch Frame (Industrial) The double-strength glass is framed with a light stained birch wood with brackets attaching the brushed aluminum swiveling metal base. The glass is filled with a highly guarded non-toxic liquid and a combination of pristine sands + fine glitters from around the world. Tiny air bubbles hold up the sand creating unique natural scenes with every turn. The black sand is heavier than the white sands so the two will never mix, some of the sands are transparent and some opaque giving the pictures a cool 3-D effect.
